Kerry Schottelkorb / 石凯睿
President
Rev. Kerry Schottelkorb is the president of ChinaSource.
For twenty years Kerry was involved in local church planting and youth ministry, both in the US and Hong Kong. He was the founding pastor of the Cle Elum Alliance Church in Cle Elum, Washington and one of two founding pastors of Evangelical Community Church in Hong Kong.
Kerry subsequently served as Vice President for Advancement for English Language Institute in China (ELIC) and the North American Director of Christian Action Asia.
Over the past 33 years, Kerry has been involved in ministry across China as a founding pastor of Evangelical Community Church in Hong Kong, Vice-President of Advancement for English Language Institute in China and the North American Director of Christian Action Asia. In these positions, Kerry has cultivated a keen love for China and Chinese ministry and developed a broad and diverse set of relationships across the US and Asia.
Kerry and his wife Debra began BridgeLives in 2007, providing leadership and team development to those primarily serving in an Asian context.
Kerry has a BA degree in history from Simpson College and an MA in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Kerry is an encourager with a longstanding love for China and a passion for the nurturing and development of collaborative leaders.
The Schottelkorbs live in Los Angeles and have two children and nine grandchildren.
Brent Fulton / 傅邦宁
Founder / Catalyst
Brent Fulton is the founder of ChinaSource.
Dr. Fulton served as the first president of ChinaSource until 2019. Prior to his service with ChinaSource, he served from 1995 to 2000 as the managing director of the Institute for Chinese Studies at Wheaton College. From 1987 to 1995 he served as founding US director of China Ministries International, and from 1985 to 1986 as the English publications editor for the Chinese Church Research Center in Hong Kong.
Dr. Fulton holds MA and PhD degrees in political science from the University of Southern California and a BA in radio-TV-film from Messiah College.
An avid China watcher, Dr. Fulton has written and taught extensively on the church in China and on Chinese social and political phenomena. He is the author of China’s Urban Christians: A Light That Cannot Be Hidden and co-authored China’s Next Generation: New China, New Church, New World with Luis Bush.
Dr. Fulton and his wife, Jasmine, previously lived in Hong Kong from 2006 to 2017. They currently reside in northern California.
He is currently facilitating a network of member care professionals serving missionaries sent out from China. He also consults with other organizations on the impact of China’s religious policy.
Joann Pittman / 周宁
Vice President of Partnerships and China Engagement
Joann Pittman is Vice President for Partnerships and China Engagement and the editor of ZGBriefs.
Prior to joining ChinaSource, Joann spent 28 years working in China, as an English teacher, language student, program director, and cross-cultural trainer for organizations and businesses engaged in China. She has also taught Chinese at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul (MN), and Chinese Culture and Communication at Wheaton College (IL) and Taylor University (IN).
Joann has a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul (MN), and an MA in teaching from the University of St. Thomas (MN).
She is the author of Survival Chinese Lessons and The Bells Are Not Silent: Stories of Church Bells in China.

Aaron Settle / 司徒恩恒
Vice President of Operations
Aaron Settle recently joined ChinaSource as the VP of Operations, where his primary focus is on optimizing internal efficiency helping to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Aaron brings a wealth of hands-on experience to ChinaSource, having spent 12 years directly involved in ministry in Southwest China. During this time, he developed a conversational level of Chinese language proficiency, attained through both formal language study and daily interactions. Before stepping into his current role, he served for over 8 years as the Assistant Director of Global Ministries with Elim Fellowship. There, he worked to oversee the daily operations of a global missionary organization, developing skills in strategic planning, organizational development, and building strong, collaborative teams. He’s genuinely passionate about maximizing impact and wisely using resources to further ChinaSource’s vital initiatives.
Aaron holds a BS in Business Management from Empire State College, and resides with his family in the Rochester, NY area.
Brianna Pyka / 柏宁雅
Fund Development Manager
Brianna Pyka brings twelve years of marketing and development experience to her role as Fund Development Manager at ChinaSource.
With a bachelor’s degree in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from Concordia University, St. Paul, she specializes in connecting passionate philanthropists with Kingdom-building initiatives.
Through her work, she helps create meaningful partnerships between donors and nonprofit organizations making lasting impact.
Brianna resides in Minnesota with her husband and twin boys.
Andrea Lee / 李晏戎
Content Manager
Andrea Lee serves as the Content Manager at ChinaSource.
Originally from Taiwan, Andrea holds a BA in Chinese Language and Literature from Tunghai University, Taiwan, and a MA in Comparative Literature from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
With extensive experience in Chinese Christian ministries and editorial work, Andrea brings significant expertise to ChinaSource. Her proficiency in Mandarin and her skills in content management and editorial work make her an invaluable asset to the organization.
Andrea currently resides in Irvine, California, with her family.
Eunice Choi / 蔡淑娟
Senior Administrator
Eunice Choi is the ChinaSource US administrator.
Eunice comes to ChinaSource with a decade of bookkeeping and administrative experience serving in a Christian nonprofit.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Eunice migrated to and lived in New York City when she was a teenager. She worked in the city and met her husband at church. After getting married, they returned to Hong Kong where they had two daughters.
After 30 years of living in Hong Kong, the family decided to relocate back to the States. They settled in Los Angeles, California at the beginning of 2021.
Eunice has a BS in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
Emerald Lam / 林淑鈴
Hong Kong Administrator
Emerald Lam is our Hong Kong administrator.
Prior to joining ChinaSource, she worked as a secretary for local printing companies.
Emerald holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Entrepreneurship and Business from University of Huddersfield, UK.
Emerald lives in Hong Kong with her husband and two daughters.
Kelly Carlson / 潘竹
Assistant Content Manager
Kelly Carlson serves as Assistant Content Manager at ChinaSource.
Kelly brings over 25 years of international and professional experience in education, program development, and cross-cultural engagement. She has lived and taught in China, worked extensively with international students, and led initiatives across universities and nonprofits.
Kelly is passionate about connecting people and building organizations that create lasting impact.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University and resides in the Orlando, Florida area, with her family.
